What gum needles do
Gum needles are fine. Ordinary plastic mesh has gaps they pass through. The needles then sit in the gutter under the guard, where they are harder to see.
What mesh does
Aluminium and stainless ski-slope mesh keeps more needles on top of the gutter than ordinary plastic mesh. Leaves can still collect on top, and valleys and downpipes still need a look. Mesh is not a reason to forget the gutter. Ask about mesh on the quote.
When a vacuum clean is the job
If the gutters are already full, start with a vacuum clean on the quote. A house that is not ready for mesh can stay on a vacuum clean. Ask us to quote the clean, the mesh, or both.
